Rey will lose her hand in Star Wars Episode 8

The Star Wars series can definitely say one thing...they are true to continuity.

Episide 1,4 and 7 were the same.  Intro of new characters, Rebellion vs Empire and a battle station destroyed by a member of the Skywalker family.

Episode 2,5 and I believe 8 will be the same.  The war continues, the Empire wins at the end of the movie and a member of the Skywalker family loses a hand.

Anakin lost his arm and hand in episode 2, Luke lost his hand in 5 and I believe Episode 8 will have Rey, who I believe is related to Luke and is a member of the Skywalker family, lose her arm or just her hand in her duel with Kylo Ren.

We all saw how Rey was able to use the Force to have the lightsaber fly to her hand instead of flying to Kylo Ren.  Kylo Ren did say that Rey needs a teacher and I believe it Kylo Ren will seek Rey out and try to get her to switch to the Dark side of the force.

Kylo Ren will spend a great deal of time during that duel to convince her to join the dark side and let Kylo Ren be her teacher.

Episode 2 showed Count Dooku fighting Anakin Skywalker and Dooku was telling Anakin that Dooku sensed much fear in Anakin.  Dooku told Anakin that he had anger, he had hate...but he does not use them.

Much like in Episode 5 where Darth Vader and Luke were having their duel, Darth Vader spent a great deal of time trying to convince Luke to go to the Dark side.  During the duel, Luke lost his hand.

I think that during Episode 8, Kylo Ren will have the light saber duel and try to conince Rey to let Kylo Ren teach her the ways of the Dark side.  Rey will not comply and will lose her arm or just her hand in the process.

Time will tell, but the Star Wars saga has done a great job in keeping with continuity by keeping the storyline the same for each trilogy.
